Apple’s next iteration of its operating system has surfaced in the developer testing processes, and it suggests that iOS 12 will run on iPhone 5s, the oldest supported iPhone model.
The report, spotted by MacGeneration, in the WebKit mailing list that contains references to iOS 12 has discussed an upcoming operating system mentions in multiple sections including the confirmation “iPhone 5s (will be) running iOS 12.”
Although it’s not guaranteed that iOS 12 will land on such a 5 year old device, if it does happen, it’s going to bring Apple in a far brighter light than what the whole ‘iPhone throttle’ debacle did.
Do you think iPhone 5s will be able to handle the latest iOS software, or will it struggle to meet its demands? Let us know in the comments below!
