One of the biggest events of Apple’s calendar, World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC), is happening next week in San Jose. This is why the iPhone maker has released a new update for its official iOS app that covers WWDC.

The new version has a schedule for the event with funny placeholder session names. We can expect these to be updated when the keynote is over on Monday.

This version of the official app also has the convenience of videos, sessions, and labs being organized according to the topics being covered at the event. It has been redesigned so users can find favorites, downloaded videos, sessions, and labs more easily.

Usefulness of the WWDC app for iOS is not limited to those physically present at the event. It is also beneficial for the people who are streaming the event live as it happens or later whenever required. Other ways to stream the event live on your iPhone, iPad, Mac and other devices can be found here.

Among the expected releases this year, we have iOS 12, macOS 10.14, tvOS 12, and watchOS 5. This event is mainly focused on software but some hardware announcements may also be a part of the proceedings.

While nothing is definite until the announcement, there are reports of new iPad Pros, new MacBooks, or even a new version of iPhone SE getting revealed in this year’s event. We might finally even see the much-hyped AirPower charging pad too.

Here are the release note of the WWDC app:
