There is a lot you can change in terms of what your Apple watch face looks like. Apple calls these customized changes ‘Complications’ that you can apply to many different watch faces for your particular taste. These faces range from minimalist watch designs to creative visualizations and animated characters for you to choose from.
So if you’re wondering how to change your Apple Watch face, here’s how to do it:
Step 1: On your watch face, swipe ‘edge to edge’ either right or left.
Step 2: Continue step 1 till you get to a desired face.
Once you’ve selected your desired face, you further customize it to your liking.
How to customize your selected watch face
Step 1: Press the digital crown till you reach the watch face.
Step 2: Press the display firmly (what Apple calls Force Touch)
Step 3: Tap ‘Customize.’
Step 4: Swipe left or right to select a feature.
Step 5: Turn the digital crown to make a change in the selected feature.
Step 6: (To edit Complications) Swipe all the way to left
Step 7: Tap a complication to select it.
Step 8: Turn the digital crown to change the complication.
Step 9: Press the digital crown when you are satisfied with the changes.
Step 10: Tap on the watch face to confirm it as the selected watch face.
Note that you can also change the watch face from your iPhone using the Apple Watch app and going to the Face Gallery tab.
