How To Insert A Signature To Emails In iPad And iPhone

Smart phones have come a long way to help you get productive on the move and Email being one of the most essential tools, the developers have taken its experience to the next level by adding many rich features to enhance your productivity. The most important yet common feature is the customizable signature option. By default, you may observe ‘sent from iPhone’ magically appear at the end of every email you compose when using the Apple Email client on your iPhone. However, this field can be removed or replaced with any user defined message. Follow the quick and easy steps instructed below to set an automatic signature to your emails on your iPhone and iPad.

Step By Step Pictorial Guide:

Step 1:

Get an iOS device.

Step 2:

On the home screen, find and tap on the ‘settings’ icon.


Step 3:

Select ‘mail, contacts, calendars’ from the Settings menu.


Step 4:

Scroll down and tap on ‘Signature’ option.

Step 5:

Now tap ‘All accounts’ and set a common signature for all your accounts. You can set different signatures to each Email account by individually setting up using ‘Per Account’ option.

On the next screen, you will see the default signature appear in the field. You can either remove the signature by deleting the text or can replace with your own message. Hit save and go to home screen.


Step 7:

Open the Mail app.


Step 8:

Find and tap on the ‘compose mail’ icon at the bottom right of the screen.

Now you’ll see your desired signature (or empty space) at the bottom of your Email.
