Being an iPhone/iPad/iPod user is a blessing in disguise as you always find something way more attractive to use which is quite rare to find in Android. Well, not to crack some argument here, this guide serves the purpose of installing iOS 10 on your device over the air.

No matter which device you are using but a notification will always pop-up on the screen a software update is available. The easiest way to update your device is to click that notification, but in-case you missed the pop-up, don’t fret. This step-by-step guide will help you out in downloading and installing the iOS 10 update over the air with ease.

Before we start with the step-by-step guide, always remember to have your device handy. Well, that’s for sure you will carry. Ok let’s cut the chase and climb the ladder:

Step 1: The first step asks you to connect your device either it’s an iPhone or an iPad to a working internet connection preferably a Wi-Fi connection. You may opt to use your cellular data, but iOS updates are usually 1 GB in size. So installing an update using your mobile data may incur a substantial cost at your end. Be smart, avoid that!

Step 2: The next step is quite simple as you are now connected to a Wi-Fi connection, you only need to tap the settings section and find General. Once found, don’t hesitate to tap it.

Step 3: In the General, you will locate the software update. Just tap the software update and proceed with downloading it. Now check if the update is available. If yes, install it.

Step 4: Before you make a move, you will have to show obedience to the prompts. Enter Passcode > Tap on Agree on Terms and Conditions > Tap on Agree to confirm.

Step 5: Once you are ready, you once click away from installing iOS 10. Tap install and show some patience as it will take few second to install.

Here you go, you iOS 10 update is finally ready for use.

Also, make sure you have enough space and ample battery in your device to complete the upgrade.
